Absolutely love this headgear!

Got the Guardian Helmet W2 for my son and it's fantastic! The quality is superb and it really gives me confidence that he's protected. It's breathable too, which is a huge plus. Will definitely be ordering from them again. So happy with this purchase!

Decent helmet, delivery could improve

I ordered a pediatric safety helmet, and the product itself is quite good. It feels durable and my child seems comfortable wearing it. The ordering process was straightforward, and I appreciated the detailed sizing guide. However, shipping took a bit longer than I expected, about 7 business days to reach my address. Customer service was responsive when I inquired about the delay, which was helpful. Overall, a good experience, but faster shipping would make it even better.

Smooth process, excellent support

I needed a special needs helmet for my daughter and decided on the Guardian Helmet W2. The website was easy to navigate, and I appreciated the clear information about the medical certification. I had a question about sizing, so I used their online chat support, and the representative was very knowledgeable and patient, helping me confirm the correct size. Ordering was simple, and the helmet arrived in about 5 days. It was well-packaged and the quality felt robust. The adjustable chin straps were easy to customize for a secure fit. She wears it comfortably, and it's easy to clean, which is a huge bonus. Very happy with the entire process and the product.

Good value with FSA

I was looking for a good protective helmet and found Guardian Helmets. I used my FSA card which made the Guardian Helmet W1 a really manageable purchase. Shipping was free, which always helps with the budget. Felt like a solid investment for the peace of mind it offers.

Hey, thinking about getting the W2 for my kid. We're in Houston, TX. How long does shipping usually take to get there?

T Troy 3 months ago
Mine got to Florida in about 5 days, so I'd guess similar for Texas, probably less than a week.

Yeah, they ship pretty quick for domestic stuff. I think mine was 4 business days to Cali. You should be good.

Can I use my FSA card for these? Or do I have to pay out of pocket and get reimbursed?

P Phil 3 months ago
Yup, definitely can. I used my FSA card directly at checkout last year. No issues.

They're totally HSA/FSA eligible. Just treat it like a regular debit card during payment. Super easy.

anyone know if these are better than Ribcap? seen those around too but not sure which one to go with.

D David Carter 2 months ago
I've tried both. Guardian feels a bit more substantial in terms of protection, while Ribcap is maybe a little more discreet. Depends on what you're prioritizing, I guess.

For actual medical needs, I think Guardian is generally considered more robust. Ribcap is good for mild stuff but Guardian is built for bigger impacts, if that makes sense.

Are these helmets actually legit for real protection? Like, not just a glorified bike helmet or something? My son has pretty severe seizures.

A Andre 2 months ago
Totally legit. They're medically certified, designed specifically for that kind of thing. Not like a sports helmet at all. My daughter's had a few falls with hers and it's held up great.

Yeah, they're not just 'soft'. They're made to reduce impact from falls. Big difference from just a regular cap.

are there any promo codes floating around? tried a couple from those coupon sites but no luck.

S Sarah 2 months ago
They don't do a lot of coupons, honestly. Sometimes during awareness months, but it's pretty rare. They focus more on the FSA/HSA stuff.

I've only ever seen like a first-time buyer discount once. Don't expect huge sales from them. They're usually pretty firm on pricing.
